horse lover quotes

Why do people think that animals don’t have souls?
I’m a huge animal lover. I have dogs, cats, and a horse. My whole future is in the horse industry so i’m very close to these animals.
But what makes people think they don’t have souls?
Technically, people are animals.
Can someone please tell me a specific bible quote that says that animals don’t have souls? Even still, i wouldn’t believe it.
Two things:
First, Genesis 2:7 says that it takes the breath of God for a being to become a living soul. The scriptures do not state that God did this to any other creatures except Adam.
Second, (and you will like this…) Revelation 19 states that Jesus and the saints return to Earth riding on horses from heaven at His Second Coming.
So even if animals do not have souls, horses are apparently in heaven.
